Basic DIY DJ Package

This is our basic Do it Yourself DJ Package. It consists of 2 large powered speakers a mixer and a wireless handheld microphone. It is a great way for a wedding couple to save money. They can create their play list in advance, put it on a ipod and simply press play. We do the delivery, setup and pickup. Cost for something like this is $185 if we can pickup the following Monday. A basic LED lighting package can be added for an additional $100.

Another thing we recommend when customers get this package is they print off the play list so their guests and see what is coming up and plan on being on the dance floor for their favorites.

Of course we also can  provide beautiful decor lighting. Please feel free to call and we can discuss your specific needs.

One Voice

We did a fun show for One Voice this weekend. We did a ton of lighting 40+ fixtures total, LED Uplights, Truss and pole mounted stage wash and movers. We did a big audio setup 24 channel Allen Heath Board with 14 speakers including a line array, 30+ mics and video.

I will have more then just a cell phone photo when we get the camera footage edited.

Gustavus Adolphus College Christ Chapel 2 large screens with windows

A couple months ago we (AV for You) got a call about doing some large screens in a very challenging space. We went down and did a site inspection and the result was Gustavus Adolphus put on a great conference about slavery this past weekend. They had about 900 people attend  the keynote speaker who needed to show a PowerPoint presentation. Their beautiful Christ Chapel on campus was to be the location. The problem was the presentation was in the morning and there are 360 degrees of windows around the chapel. Our plan was to use 7.5×10 rear projection screens and pipe and drape the sides between the back of the screen and the projector. This tunnel of drape killed a lot of the light that would wash out the screens from the sides. In addition we used 6500 lumen projectors with short throw lenses as there was not a lot of excess space on the stage. Finally we also did about 50′ of pipe and drape along the east wall to try and stop the direct sunlight from coming into the building all together. There was still a great deal of ambient light getting in but the counter measures we took allowed for a very use able image in a very sun light hostile environment.

Fundraiser at Rock Bottom Minneapolis

We did a wonderful event for Annette at Rock Bottom Brewery Minneapolis. She supports a school in Jamaica and raises money for it every year.  We provided the PA system with 6 powered speakers and a monitor on stage. She had 2 steel drum players and a dj. For sound we ran a 100′ audio snake connected to a Allen and Heath 24 channel board their were 10 total inputs with the band and the wireless handheld mics we provided. For video we provided a 5k projector and 6’x8′ fast fold screen. We also routed the video to the 3 tvs behind the bar via long VGA cable and a distribution amp.
