AV for You set up audio, video and lighting rental equipment for the VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) 19th Annual Gala - “Hope for the Future” at the JW Marriott - Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.

For audio rental equipment we used 8 of our dB Technologies DVA T4 Line Array Speakers on our two Sumner Eventer 16 Stage Lifts.  We also used two extra T4 speakers to provide a center fill for the venue.  At our frosted podium we had our Audio Technica Podium Microphones.  We also provided four QSC K10 Powered Speakers as stage monitors for the band.  We set up our Shure Drum Microphone Kit along with two SM57 wired microphones for horn instruments.  We provided a DI for keyboard as well.

For Video rental equipment we rear projected two of our Eiki 7KHD projectors onto our Dalite 8' x 14' Fastfold Screens.  We set up two 10' towers in the back of the room and used our .8 Short Throw Lens to fill the image on the screen.  We used our Decimator SDI-HDMI Cross Converters to distribute HD Video Signal to both projectors.

For Lighting rental equipment we used ten Chauvet Ovation lights on two 15' Truss Towers for a bright and even stage wash.  We also used one ETC Source 4 light to project a gobo onto our white muslin backdrop.  We used American DJ Flat Par lights to shine a green light onto the backdrop behind the stage.  We also provided sixteen Eternal Lighting Cube Echo Battery Powered Uplights around the room set to green for decor.

At the tech table we used our Full Size Behringer X32 Digital Mixer for audio and two Shure QLXD4 Wireless Microphone Racks for clean and dependable wireless microphone transmission.  We also had an Analog Way Saphyr Video Switcher for switching between powerpoint and a looping slideshow.  We also had a ETC Smartfade lighting controller for controlling the brightness of the wash and the LED Lights on the backdrop.
