AV for You set up audio, video and lighting for the University of Minnesota’s Gopher Football Banquet at the Hilton in Downtown Minneapolis.

For audio we provided our dB Technologies DVA T4 line array speakers. We used Sumner 16 Eventer Stage Lifts to fly 8 boxes and set 4 onstage as center fills using our dB Technologies DVA DSA 4 stand adapters. We also set up JBL VRX line array speakers on the sides of the room using our Global Truss ST132 tripod crank stands to get them high in the air. JBL VRX subwoofers provided extra low end in the large ballroom creating more dramatic and dynamic sound for video and music cues. Audio Technica podium mics, along with two Shure Flexi-Mic podium mics were spread among three podiums on stage. QSC K10 speakers were placed on stage as floor monitors for the presenters.

For video we rear projected Eiki 7KHD Projectors onto Screen Works 9×16 truss screens. We also provided two Vizio 60 Inch monitors as confidence monitors for the speakers. Decimator HDMI-SDI cross converters distributed high quality video signal to all the projectors and monitors.

For lighting we rigged ETC Source 4 lights along 15′ truss towers in the back of the room for a long even stage wash. We also provided three of our Source 4 Pars as back lights for the speakers on stage. We set up 20 of our EchoCUBE Battery Powered Uplights to illuminate the large muslin backdrop we set up behind the stage with the football team’s gold color.

At the tech table we used the Behringer X32 digital mixer for audio. We also set up our Shure QLXD4 wireless microphone distro rack and our Shure UHF-R wireless microphone rack for dependable and clear wireless audio. For video we used our Analog Way QuickVu video switcher and a Qlab laptop for video playback. For lighting we had our ETC Smartfade Lighting Console to provide control over the stage wash and backlighting. We also used our ClearComm Wireless Com to allow the techs on the show to communicate to each other during the program.

Coloplast at Aria

AV for You set up audio, video and lighting for the Coloplast Home Office Hero Awards at Aria in Downtown Minneapolis.

For audio we set up JBL VRX line array speakers on stands. We also provided Audio Technica podium microphones on top of our frosted podium.

For video we rear projected an Eiki 7KHD Projector onto our Draper 9×16 Screen, set to a high height allowing speakers to stand in front of the screen during the event.

For lighting we used ETC Source Four lights for a wash. We also provided battery powered uplights on our grey drape set up on the sides of the screen.

At the tech table we used our Behringer X32 mixer for audio and our Shure QLXD4 wireless microphone distro for reliable and clear audio during the presentation. We used our Analog Way QuickVu video switcher for simple video switching and an ETC Smartfade lighting console to control the brightness of the stage wash.

Fundraiser at James J. Hill Center

AV for You set up audio, video, and lighting for a fundraiser event at James J. Hill Center in Downtown St. Paul.

For audio we set up JBL VRX Line Array Speakers on our DuraTruss crank stands to get the speakers high in the venue in order to better distribute sound. We also added QSC K10 Powered Speakers on stands as a delay speaker set to further reinforce sound in the back of the venue.

For video we rear projected our Eiki 7KHD Projector onto our Dalite 8×14 Fastfold Screen.

For lighting we used Ovation E910FC lights for a stage wash on Global Truss ST-132 crank tripods. We also provided an Ovation E910FC light for a gobo in the entry of the library. We set Battery Operated Lights with white covers to provide a sleek looking entrance to the event.

At the tech table we used our Behringer X32 Producer digital mixer and Shure UHF-R Wireless Mic Rack to provide reliable and clear audio. We also used our Analog Way QuickVu Video Switcher for simple video switching, our QLab laptop for video playback, and an ETC Smartfade Lighting Console to control the brightness of the stage wash.

Choir performance at Town and Country Club

AV for You provided audio support for a choir performance for The University of St.Thomas at Town and Country Club in St. Paul.

DVA line array speakers were set on Global Truss crank up towers and mixed with a Behringer X32 compact digital console. A Shure SM81 was used on the grand piano and Audio Techina choir microphones for the vocalists.

Lupus Walk For Hope in Maple Grove

AV for You provided audio and staging for the Lupus Walk for Hope and 5K run held at Central Park of Maple Grove.

For audio we stacked JBL VRX  line array speakers on heavy duty crank up stands and set QSC K10 speakers further out to distribute the sound throughout the park. Shure wired mics were set with stands along with a direct box through our Mackie DFX6 mixer.

For staging we set a 8’x12′ stage with 24″ legs and a step with railings.

NAIOP at Nicollet Island Pavilion

AV for You provided audio and video support for NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association at the Nicollet Island Pavilion.

A DVA T4 line array system with JBL VRX subwoofers and a Behringer X32 console provided the sound for both the program and a live musical performance.

Our Analog Way QuickVu was patched into house projectors and screens to create a polished look to the video presentation.

Share our Strength at The Depot

AV for You provided audio, video, and lighting support for Share Our Strength at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel in The Depot.

Video was presented on 9’x16’ screens with Eiki HDT700 projectors and controlled with an Analog Way QuickVu video scaler/switcher.

Audio was heard through DVA T4 line array speakers and a Behringer X32 console with Shure wireless microphones.

The stage was lit with ETC Source Four fixtures and decorated with American DJ flatpar LED uplights.

Outdoor Concert at Coffman Union

AV for You provided staging and audio support outside at Coffman Memorial Union on the University of Minnesota campus.

A 16’ x 16’ stage made from Staging Dimensions decks was flanked by JBL VRX 900 line array speakers to make a small but professional performance platform.

Bone Appetit at Aria

AV for You was proud to support the Bone Appetit fund raiser for Secondhand Hounds at Aria in Minneapolis.

Video was projected on a Screen Works 9’x16’ screen suspended from the catwalk with an Eiki HDT700 projector set in the second level VIP area. A Sharp 90” monitor was set in the back of the room for tables with an obstructed view of the main screen.

For audio we flew DVA T4 line array speakers from the catwalk and used a Behringer X32 Compact to mix.

The event featured 12 custom gobos for sponsors which we used our Chauvet Ovation E-910FC LED lights. These fixtures offer many advantages over conventional theater lighting such as built in colors with no need for gels, reduced power consumption, and built in dimmer control.

AV for You was proud to provide audio and staging for Strut Your Mutt at Wolfe Park in Saint Louis Park.

We used our JBL VRX line array speakers on Sumner Eventer 16 towers and Shure wireless microphones for the main stage and JBL Eon 610 powered speakers for the start line. This filled the park with sound for the stage program and announcements.

We also set up a truss arch with our Global Truss for the stage backdrop and the start line so the banners could be displayed safely and prominently.
